Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Hospice Care team in Alexandria. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing services to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Knute Nelson's policies and procedures.
- Float to all regions as needed to administer skilled nursing care to clients requiring professional nursing service.
- Ensure time management that best utilizes Knute Nelson's resources while meeting client needs.
- Assure that the highest degree of quality care, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Must obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
- Must have a valid driver's license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
- Must be willing to travel to all regions as needed.
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
- Must complete and pass a state required background study.
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
- Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, clients and visitors.
