- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
Compensation: $2,638.00 per week
Shift InformationStandard Shift: Nights
Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours
Shift Timings: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)
RN Ratio: 1:1-2
Floating Required: Yes (to all units except Behavioral and ER unless holding)
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the work assignment location.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU settings such as SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is essential.
- Heart experience is highly preferred.
- Two recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references.
- Skills checklist matching specialty.
- Valid driver's license with matching address demographics.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
- NURSYS report for license verification with an active NY license.
Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
Common Patient DiagnosesCommon cases include:
- Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-Stemi
- CTICU: CV surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery
- Surg/Trauma: Trauma, Major post-operative cases
Drips and Medications: Pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine & Dopamine), Vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), Anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido), Sedation (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), TPN, and Insulin.
Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).
