Patient Care Specialist for Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Avera Behavioral Health Center, specializing in adolescent behavioral health. As a key member of our unit, you will provide high-quality nursing care focused on adolescents with addiction and mental health conditions.
This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to create personalized recovery programs, requiring flexibility, critical thinking, and a passion for helping others. You will have opportunities to work in multiple patient care settings, including addiction care and cross-training in the child/adolescent program.
A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $32.00 to $46.50 per hour, based on experience. This position may also be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, providing an additional payment of up to $10,000 towards your principal balance.

About Our Programs:The Avera Adolescent Addiction Care Program is designed as an age-appropriate residential treatment facility, offering a tailor-made recovery program based on individual needs. Our Behavioral Health Adolescent & Child Units provide a structured therapeutic environment for adolescents and children to learn healthy coping skills and set goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized recovery plans.
- Provide evidence-based treatments and interventions for adolescents with addiction and mental health conditions.
- Work in multiple patient care settings, including addiction care and the child/adolescent program.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
