Job Overview

Hoover Energy Services is seeking a skilled I&E Technician to join our team in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico. As an I&E Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting our control systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems, including PLCs, transmitters, and switch devices.
  • Instrumentation and Electrical Work: Evaluate and troubleshoot control system wiring, perform configurations and troubleshooting of instrumentation, and install and configure EtherNet I/P and Serial Radio systems.
  • Process Control: Troubleshoot and correct issues with positive displacement flow meters, Coriolis flow meters, and variable speed drives.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical support and leadership to assigned locations, including training and mentoring of non-senior technicians and operators.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field, high school diploma or associate degree.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of electrical theory and controls, ability to work in a team environment, and good communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work in close quarters, and follow PPE guidelines.
