Role Overview
As a Lab Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in packaging products produced by our laboratory, including cartridges and tinctures. Attention to detail is paramount in this position, as accurate measuring, counting, and labeling are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow daily packaging schedules to meet efficiency targets.
  • Ensure all work areas, tools, and equipment are in good condition before starting each batch.
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and legal requirements during packaging and labeling activities.
  • Safely operate and maintain various packaging equipment according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Generate reliable data for batch, equipment, quality, inventory, and documentation processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOPs and controlled document revisions.
  • Manage inventory of packaging components and finished products, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Adhere to safe chemical handling and disposal procedures as outlined in SOPs.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Support the Packaging Lead to achieve daily goals and deadlines.
  • Drive productivity and develop innovative strategies for cost-effective packaging processes.
  • Be flexible to work nights and weekends as necessary to complete critical tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience in a GMP manufacturing or laboratory setting.
  • Experience in the medical marijuana/cannabis industry is a plus.
