About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Behavioral Health Network. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing expert evaluation and consultation services to the courts in Western Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of competence to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and aid in sentencing.
  • Provide expert testimony in court and consult with stakeholders on the disposition of individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the needs of individuals with severe mental illness.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and supervision to achieve state credentialing as a Designated Forensic Professional.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology (required) with licensure to practice psychology in Massachusetts.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with severely mentally ill populations (required).
  • Strong assessment and writing skills, with a genuine desire to be a team player.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not essential).
