Position Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review and assess security vulnerability reports submitted by independent security researchers. This involves verifying the authenticity and scope of reported vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate each vulnerability for its severity and assign an appropriate risk score.
  • Act as a liaison between public researchers and DoD system owners.
  • Monitor and track the progress of report submissions.
  • Validate mitigation or remediation actions throughout the lifecycle of the reports.

Qualifications:

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or engineering.
  • Familiarity with Information Assurance tools, such as eMASS or ACAS.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with STIG requirements.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+, or related credentials.
