About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team at River's Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct the nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor residents for adverse reactions.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and a minimum of one year of experience in long-term care nursing management.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of geriatric and general chronic care nursing principles, with the ability to apply to resident-specific circumstances.
