Job Description
As a Senior Geospatial Analyst, you will support the Defense Combating Terrorism Office for an Intelligence agency with strategic intelligence on terrorist personalities, networks, facilities, intentions, capabilities, tactics, training, and weapons.
You will conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social, and physical sciences.
You will exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social, and physical sciences.
- Provide analysis on terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
- Maintain analytical interaction with other members of the intelligence community to address customer requirements, support contingency, and operational planning.
- Develop collections requirements to address gaps in reporting.
- Use research and reporting databases and tools to gather and evaluate reporting.
- Participate in briefings and seminars.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Geospatial Analyst or Cartographer experience required.
- Bachelor's degree and 12 to 15 years of DoD and/or IC experience or a Master's with 17 to 20 years of DoD and/or IC experience.
