About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our team at Diebold Nixdorf. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting our customers, internal business units, and external partners in governing the activities of our Global Business Services (GBS) offshore resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Impact Duties: Perform a variety of revenue-impacting duties to support our service and sales teams, as well as our customers.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to our company policies and procedures, auditing, and SOX Compliance.
  • Individual Performance: Provide individual performance that directly impacts the opportunity to grow and retain revenue.
  • Business Unit Procedures: Understand and follow business unit procedures/workflows as defined by your manager.
  • Customer Inquiries: Address customer inquiries, research, analyze, and resolve problems using sound judgment regarding the proper handling of client requests.
  • Internal and External Partners: Interact with individuals throughout the organization at all levels to accomplish objectives.
  • Customer Service: Deliver customer service that demonstrates personal ownership and accountability to all internal and external partners.
Essential Functions
  • Workflow Management: Manage the workflow of task assignments surrounding service contract maintenance responsibilities for an assigned customer base/territory.
  • Order to Cash Processes: Govern and facilitate Order to Cash processes, including processing tasks and activities of the service contract processes and entitlement information related to customer-specific equipment and direct partnering associates to update the Oracle Service Contract module for accurate and timely service coverage for successful service call placement, invoicing, and revenue, including equipment annual renewals, adds, cancellations, changes, and complete contract rewrites.
  • Business Intelligence Reporting: Provide business intelligence reporting that shares customer-specific equipment and existing coverages and pricing.
  • Revenue Impact Responsibilities: Analyze and decide revenue impact responsibilities.
  • Service Contract Entitlements: Ensure accurate service contract entitlements for invoice generation and prepare special invoice formatting.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Mentorship and Training: May mentor/train others as directed by your supervisor.
  • Project Participation: Participate in various projects and ad-hoc duties to support business needs.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Equivalent: Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in commercial contracts.
  • Hybrid Role: Hybrid role, onsite 2 days a week, reside commutable distance to our NC Ohio office.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Sales Force, Advanced Excel, and Power Point skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to create reports, share, and communicate to leaders.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing skills, written/oral communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Service Contract Experience: 1-2 years in service contract experience or equivalent business experience.
