At Community Health Network, we're committed to providing our patients with the best care possible. As an Echo Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ultrasound diagnostic tests for patients under physician supervision
  • Perform 2-D/Doppler/Colorflow ultrasound, as directed by physician
  • Perform transesophageal echo, stress Echos and contrast Echos
  • Schedule patients and explain procedures
  • Position patients and select appropriate transducer
  • Maintain equipment
  • Order and stock ultrasound supplies
Requirements
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to pinpoint area of imaging
  • Skills in operating ultrasound equipment
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with patients and medical staff
  • Ability to adapt easily and appropriately apply guidelines and procedures
  • Demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skills
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • License: Must be registered through ARDMS or CCI
