Job Summary

Under supervision, educate and guide students in grades 9 through 12 in various academic subjects, as well as social, behavioral, and other essential educational skills. Responsibilities include planning, developing, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive educational program tailored for secondary level students. Assist upper secondary students in making informed lifestyle choices and determining their career and vocational paths. Additional related duties may be required.

Requirements / Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must complete online training in the following areas:
* New Employee Training
* Preventing Workplace Violence
* Bloodborne Pathogens
* Sexual Harassment
* Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter
Upon receiving a job offer, candidates will be provided with details and instructions regarding this training.

Applicants must hold a valid California credential that authorizes teaching in High School Spanish, along with an English Learner Authorization.

Interns (those with a Bachelor's degree, CBEST, CSET, or a BA in Spanish currently enrolled in a credential program) will also be considered.

Comments and Other Information

Additional Salary Information:
* Upon hiring, salary placement will be determined based on the number of upper division/graduate level units earned from a WASC accredited four-year college or university. Units must be obtained after the date of the Bachelor's degree.

* A maximum of fifteen (15) years of credit is allowed for teaching experience in a public school (K-12) or an accredited private school (K-12).

* A $1,000.00 stipend is available for those with a Doctoral degree.
