Healthcare Attorney

Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking a skilled healthcare attorney to join our team. As a collaborative and team-oriented environment, we value collegiality, sharing, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in health law issues and trends, with a background in corporate transactions, preferably involving provider healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with structuring and negotiating transactions, offering strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Implement various contractual arrangements and counsel clients on a wide range of legal matters affecting the healthcare industry.
• Collaborate with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality work and achieve business outcomes.

Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years of experience in corporate law, healthcare law, and/or regulatory legal compliance.
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse laws, and/or HIPAA is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Admission to the New York State bar.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
