Part-Time LVN Shift Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Part-Time LPN Shift Care Professional, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
