Software Development Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Eurofins Viracor, LLC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting computer software applications. This is a hybrid role that offers a mix of local and remote work opportunities. If you are authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Manage designated technology application portfolios from configuration, maintenance, and monitoring
Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on small-size projects
Work within defined IT processes and procedures, including the company's internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)
Serve as a liaison between technical and business departments to ensure that all requirements and targets are met
Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation supporting break/fix ticket resolution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training
Up to 3 years of successful application and system development and management experience, with database experience utilizing the.NET Framework
Analytical, motivated, and able to learn new technologies and applications
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keenly attentive to detail and able to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience
SQL Server or Oracle experience, with knowledge of SQL Server Integration Tools
Experience leading projects, developing, and administering Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Specimen Management Systems
Knowledge of HL7 standard and coding, with experience working with Corepoint HL7 application
High level of proficiency with PC-based software programs, including project management tools, MS Project
