Job Summary:

Gasbarre Products is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical activities under the direction of the electrical supervisor, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with company goals and objectives.
• Communicate departmental information to the electrical supervisor on a daily basis or as needed.
• Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all applicable electrical codes and regulations.
• Install, connect, and test general manufacturing wiring, as well as operate fork lifts and overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Work independently or as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors through written and verbal communication.
• Follow instructions and perform all essential functions of the job.

Requirements:

• Electrical degree or certificate preferred, but not required if 2 years of electrical work experience is shown.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, tools, codes, equipment, and safety procedures is required.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and perform extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and other physical activities required to perform the job.
