Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while minimizing material scrap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain electrical test and measuring systems to ensure the validity and quality of all applicable cables.
  • Develop and implement routine inspection and test procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems to achieve plant objectives and improve quality performance.
  • Maintain accurate records to demonstrate compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate returned materials due to quality complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain a system for the effective management of nonconforming material documentation and report metrics to comply with plant and company requirements.
  • Develop and communicate effective quality performance metrics throughout the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to effectively deliver improvement projects and identify adverse quality trends.
  • Support plant efforts to maintain and conform to plant quality standards and facilitate customer and regulatory agency inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with practical science experience.
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record of improving quality performance.
  • Experience with quality assurance systems, including ISO and SPC tools.
  • Leadership experience in a team-based environment and ability to motivate and communicate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
