Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. This role is designed for professionals who are willing to travel and provide exceptional imaging services.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or Military.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is mandatory for OR Techs / Surgical Techs.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on specific job details.
Job Details
  • The candidate's permanent residence must be located more than 100 miles from the central facility.
  • Position: MRI Technologist
  • Shift: 3x12's Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; holidays as assigned).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for travelers.
  • Experience in a large hospital setting (level I or level II Trauma preferred).
  • Familiarity with a variety of scans, including cardiac, breast, and brain imaging.
  • Experience with pacemakers and other implants/devices is beneficial.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 12 or more technologists during normal staffing conditions.
  • Radiology nursing support is available 24/7 in the MRI department.
  • Utilization of EPIC EMR; charcoal grey scrubs are standard attire.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • ODH Radiologic License or registration with a national MRI registry, including ARRT (MR) and ARMRIT.
  • BLS Certification is required.
Schedule Information

Shift: 3x12's Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; holidays as assigned).

Unit Specific Information
  • This position is specifically for MRI Technologists.
  • Completion of a unit-specific competency exam is required within the first year of employment.
  • Team collaboration is essential, with 12 or more technologists on both first and second shifts when staffing allows.
