Position: Nursing Assistant

Overview

The Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the professional nursing staff in providing comprehensive care to residents. This position involves delivering personal care to designated residents and participating in the development of care plans and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess the necessary knowledge and skills to care for residents in a Long Term Care environment, catering to geriatric, young adult, and middle-aged individuals.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and medical treatments in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Team Leader promptly.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both residents and staff by adhering to established safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered with the MN Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
