Position Overview

Year Round Pool - Home of the Pool Troopers is in search of dedicated Pool Technicians to perform outdoor duties related to pool service and water maintenance in accordance with established company protocols.

Compensation: Starting pay is $18 per hour.

While prior experience in pool service is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided at the onset of employment.

Work Schedule: Shifts are available Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional Sunday work. The workday commences between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and concludes once the final pool has been serviced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting the company vehicle to various customer locations.
  • Managing equipment and chemical inventory both at the facility and within the vehicle.
  • Performing routine cleaning of pools, ensuring optimal water levels are maintained.
  • Testing the pH and chlorine levels of swimming pool water.
  • Administering chemicals such as acid and chlorine to adjust pH levels as necessary.
  • Utilizing approved equipment for thorough pool cleaning.
  • Replacing bulbs in underwater lighting fixtures.
  • Repairing cracks or leaks in pool structures.
  • Installing and fixing plumbing and piping for pools and spas.
  • Maintaining and repairing malfunctioning pool cleaning apparatus.
  • Completing necessary documentation and reporting service needs to management.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid US driver's license.
  • Must provide a three-year Motor Vehicle Report for insurance verification.
  • Experience in pool service is beneficial but not required.

Employee Benefits:

  • Salary evaluations at 30-45 days and 60-90 days of employment, followed by annual reviews.
