About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at American Equipment Holdings, a leading provider of industrial weighing solutions in the United States. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products and system installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface between the development team, system technicians, and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional testing, data analysis, and database reviews to verify software quality and system functionality.
  • Utilize programming skills to identify and address coding issues or configuration errors impacting system installations or functionality.
  • Enter identified coding errors into our bug tracking system (e.g., DEVOPS) and coordinate with developers to implement necessary code updates.
  • Verify system functionality post-installation to ensure customer requirements are met and address any outstanding issues.
  • Review code in progress for security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and evaluate innovative technologies for potential incorporation into our software products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and release engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and release management.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET for troubleshooting and code review.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems and version control tools.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.

Compensation Details

$80,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
