Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to perform general preventative and predictive maintenance on food manufacturing machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with setting up, adjusting, and repairing various types of equipment to ensure consistent safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns
  • Responding to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators
  • Attending and participating in crew transition meetings and daily transition meetings with other Maintenance Technicians
  • Reading blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings
  • Using measuring instruments, calipers, multimeter, etc.
  • Reworking and rebuilding mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Performing electrical troubleshooting on 480-volt 3-phase systems
  • Setting up and operating production equipment and machine tools

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a mechanical/electrical electrician
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery
  • Some experience in forklift operations
  • Ability to use a multi-meter
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
