Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Gym Cleaning and Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Crunch Fitness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment within the gym, including the interior and exterior areas.
  • Assist with providing excellent customer service to members and guests.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and cleaning locker rooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  • Manage supplies, including replenishing toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities, and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and securely.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle any client inquiries or complaints professionally.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with co-workers.
  • Accurately log completed tasks and working hours.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient reading and writing skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Some experience as a cleaner or janitor preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and carry backpack vacuum cleaners for extended periods.
  • Cleaning knowledge, including knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and techniques.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
