Job Summary

The Overnight Closer will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a positive and professional attitude, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing a superior level of service and support.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle all front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
  • Account Management: Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Club Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Requirements
  • Covid-19 Protocols: Pursuant to this franchise's Covid-19 protocols, individuals must be fully vaccinated and boosted upon commencing employment.
  • Customer Service Background: Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency required.
  • Passion for Fitness: A passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • Upbeat Attitude: An upbeat and positive attitude is required.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are must-haves.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills are necessary, with the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
  • Strong Listening Skills: Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
  • Diplomacy: Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Talking: Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Ability to Work 3rd Shift: Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
  • Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Toxic Chemicals: Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
