Position Summary

The Assembler will be responsible for assembling components in accordance with established work protocols. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to recognize discrepancies in work instructions and component inconsistencies, and be prepared to halt production when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts at designated workstations following standardized procedures.
  • Identify and address safety or quality concerns by stopping the assembly line.
  • Achieve qualification on at least one task, including upstream and downstream responsibilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area in alignment with 5S principles.
  • Conduct tests and calibrate components to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively to assemble units according to design requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair units that do not meet testing standards.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Entry-level position; prior experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to recognize variations in work instructions and component quality.
  • Proficient in the use of air tools.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Willingness to undergo training or apprenticeship in relevant areas.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
Physical Requirements

This role involves moderate physical activity, including lifting weights between 25-50 pounds, and the ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment

The position entails moderate risk, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment due to potential hazards associated with machinery or chemicals.
