Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Delivery Truck Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of building materials to our customers. As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from our warehouse to customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from our warehouse to customer locations
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of building materials to our customers
  • Conduct a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch to ensure all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
  • Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading them
  • Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
  • Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL - Class A or B
  • The ability to lift pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
