Role Overview

This Speech Language Therapist position plays a vital role in helping patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders attain, regain, or maintain function.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify patients' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using standardized testing procedures and behavioral observations.
  • Prepare reports of diagnostic evaluations, analyses, interpretations, and recommendations for treatment.

Qualifications:

Education: A Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech Pathology, or a related field is required.

Certifications/Licenses: Current licensure by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, and Current Certificate of Clinical Competence as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Special Requirements: A valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method is required for job-related duties.
