Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Patient Care Unit as a lead nurse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment, planning, and implementation, with at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care settings. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be required to float to various departments and locations within the organization. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Lead and coordinate patient care teams
  • Float to various departments and locations within the organization
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license in the designated state of employment (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (required based on specialty assignment)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care settings (required)

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000/year, plus a $20 float differential, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and educational assistance.
