Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our physicians and staff, and contribute to the development of our clinic's policies and services.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient examinations and establish medical diagnoses based on client history, physical examinations, and relevant criteria.
- Order, perform, and interpret laboratory, radiographic, and other diagnostic tests.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive plan of care for patients.
- Manage chronic care medications.
- Prescribe medications in adherence to West Virginia statutes and professional practice guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited program of instruction for physician assistants.
- Capable of independent assessment decisions in a primary care setting, in collaboration with supervising RCBC physician(s).
- Ability to obtain prescriptive authority with the West Virginia Board of Medicine.
