Program Overview

Our 12-month Nurse Residency Program is designed to facilitate your transition from student to professional nurse. Through a combination of education, mentorship, and peer support, you will develop the skills and confidence needed to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Function within the framework of hospital policies and procedures
  • Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • New graduate nurses eligible
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
  • BLS certification required
