Volt Workforce Solutions is immediately hiring for an Assembler position in Oxford, Ohio. This full-time contract-to-hire opportunity offers a competitive salary of $18.50-$20.50 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic and good attendance, as well as the ability to carry out physical functions of the job, such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 26 pounds.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble all types of devices, working from blueprints, sketches, and other established procedures and data.
  • Inspect, label, pack, and identify assemblies as required.
  • Set up and operate equipment, including tooling and controls.
  • Select proper raw stocks and check against blueprint specifications.
  • Segregate, sort, and dispose of scrap and write scrap tickets.
  • Count, report, and record production.

This role involves working in a climate-controlled environment with a clean workspace. The schedule includes weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) from 6am-6:30pm and 1st shift (Monday-Thursday) from 6am-4:30pm or 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday) from 4:30pm-3am.
