Job Summary

Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is seeking a skilled Engineering Program Specialist to handle NPI related procurement, budget, logistics, and vendor bringup activities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with program managers, global commodity managers, and finance teams to handle development budgets and procurement activities.
  • Review vendor delivery reports and ensure on-time delivery of engineering equipment and materials to multiple locations.
  • Manage PPO lab testers and equipment movement, working with facility teams to ensure on-time lab setup.
  • Work directly with PCBA vendors to monitor material readiness and delivery schedules for test boards.
  • Manage competing priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Working experience with managing and procuring customized engineering equipment, services, and test boards (PCBA).
  • Working experience with vendors, international trade compliance, and logistics.
  • Proficient in Excel or Numbers and capable of learning new software applications quickly.
