About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality inpatient care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care under the direction of the primary physician and registered nurse.
  • Identify patient and family needs and coordinate care accordingly.
  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary group (IDG) and follow an individualized plan of care.
  • Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance quality of life.
  • Pledge to prioritize patient comfort and care.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • 30 hour IV Certification preferred.
  • Hospice Certification preferred.
  • Understanding of hospice nursing, case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, thanatology skills, and needs assessment skills.
  • Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
