Director of Biostatistics

Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Biostatistics to join our team.
The Director of Biostatistics will be responsible for leading the development of innovative and efficient clinical trials, including the selection of populations to study and endpoints to use. This role will contribute to the product development strategy, including the development of clinical development plans, and will lead GBDS-related submission activities and post-submission strategies/preparations/defenses.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in statistics or biostatistics or a related scientific field, with 9+ years of experience in clinical trials, drug development, pharmaceutical industry, or healthcare experience. Proficiency in scientific computing/programming (SAS, R, or Python) and implementation of advanced statistical analysis, data manipulation, graphing, and simulation is required.
The Director of Biostatistics will also be responsible for providing guidance and management to the GBDS team to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables. This role will require excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to present and defend complex statistical solutions to all levels of BMS governance, key stakeholders, and external regulatory bodies.
