About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to evaluate cardiac function and structure
  • Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses to physicians
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and techniques to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  • BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, day shifts
  • Call rotation every 72 hours
  • Every other weekend and holiday call rotation
  • Guaranteed weekly work hours: 36
