As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will utilize computerized tomography to capture high-quality medical images for diagnostic purposes. Working in a hospital, outpatient center, or imaging center, you will prepare patients for CT scans, operate CT equipment, process images for radiologists and physicians, and maintain accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment, maintaining optimal image quality and patient safety
- Process images for radiologists and physicians, providing accurate and timely results
- Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
