Job Title: MRI Tech

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Wichita, KS.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
  • Prepare and care for patients undergoing MRI imaging.
  • Perform tasks such as confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining procedures to patients.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and correctly interpret doctor's written instructions.
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance and start I.V.s as needed.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
