The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled LPN to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing interventions.
- Perform support functions for the department, as assigned by the RN and/or manager, to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
- 1-2 years medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
