Vascular Access Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access Nursing team at ChristianaCare. As a Vascular Access Nurse, you will be responsible for providing adult PICC and midline placements, as well as ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs (USGPIVs) services throughout the hospital. You will also support the hemodialysis team by accessing and de-accessing HD catheters, and fistulas, as well as de-clotting of HD catheters.
Responsibilities- Perform adult PICC and midline placements
- Provide USGPIVs services
- Support the hemodialysis team
- Complete central line dressing changes on inpatient medical floors
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
- At least two years of Acute Care experience required
- Previous critical care or procedural area experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
