Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Dental Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in providing excellent patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for dental procedures by taking medical and dental histories, preparing materials, and explaining treatment options.
  • Assisting dentists and hygienists during procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Preparing and processing dental radiographs, maintaining accurate records and following infection control protocols.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas, adhering to standard precautions and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An Associate Degree in Dental Assisting or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental office with direct patient care, sterilization, and inventory control.
  • A valid Dental Assistant (DA) certification from the North Carolina Dental Board.
  • BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
