Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician. The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, and parents to provide support and implement behavior support programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in writing and implementing programs for assigned students
  • Attend activities with assigned students, including related service sessions and community-based field trips
  • Implement specific behavior support programs throughout the school day
  • Collect and graph data on student programs
  • Meet with special education teachers and school psychologists to maintain effective program services
  • Provide written reports of student progress as requested
  • Provide training to paraeducator staff in behavior routines and programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field
  • OR Associate's Degree with related experience
  • Knowledge and experience in special education practices and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
  • Basic knowledge of assistive technology and augmented communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
