ABF Freight is seeking a skilled Local City Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Local City Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cargo to and from various destinations within proximity of our consolidation/distribution center.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Load and unload trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology, and procedures as a dock worker.
  • Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
  • Operate a tractor/trailer in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Meet and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
  • Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.
  • Good stable work record.
  • Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
  • Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
