NextGen America is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Michigan Deputy Field Organizer. This role will be responsible for organizing young people in Michigan to engage in electoral politics and increase participation among 18-35 year olds.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and mobilize young people on campuses and in surrounding communities to bring progressive change to government through voting.
- Develop and implement voter registration drives and get out the vote efforts.
- Recruit and train a local volunteer team to support field organizing work.
- Develop relationships and partnerships with local community and student groups.
