Job Description

Siemen Healthineers is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team in Rochester, Minnesota.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosis.
  • Locate and record internal elements of the body, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  • Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  • Review tests with peers and physicians.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings.
  • Distribute completed test results.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient charts and update file systems.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.
  • Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedure.
  • Maintain technical competency through education and participation in Siemens training programs.
  • Administer contrast agents under guidance and approval of site Radiologist.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
  • Call for service and notify team members.
  • Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience.
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
  • VIA experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment.
