Position Type:
Part-Time

Average Hours:
Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

Duties and Responsibilities:
All tasks must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Collaborates with team members and communicates pertinent information to the direct supervisor
  • Maintains the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the scope of responsibility
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Handles customer transactions, performs general cleaning duties, and organizes merchandise displays
  • Delivers exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their experience
  • Provides management with feedback regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general concerns
  • Participates in store inventory counts as per guidelines and monitors inventory accuracy
  • Follows cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

  • Stocks shelves and rotates products to ensure freshness
  • Adheres to merchandising planograms to create visually appealing displays
  • Organizes new inventory and manages empty packaging
  • Operates machinery while adhering to all safety protocols

Store Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assists with curbside shopping orders
  • Responsible for both cashier and stock associate duties as outlined above

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate throughout the store

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective time management skills
  • Knowledge of the company's products and services

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a retail setting preferred
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
