We are seeking a skilled Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Associated Urologists of North Carolina, PA. This role involves performing diagnostic procedures in our Apex office, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient interviews to explain procedures and gather essential medical information.
- Position patients on the x-ray table in accordance with established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and upload images to our PACS system for review by outside radiologists.
- Present images to urologists in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations and priorities.
- Organize work efficiently to complete tasks within established timeframes.
- Exercise initiative and make decisions without direct supervision.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences.
- Current ARRT Registration.
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in imaging equipment and PACS programs.
- Availability to work Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7am-1pm.
