Job Title: LPN Charge Nurse 7A-7P

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at Generations of Red Bay. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants
  • Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner
  • Fill out and complete accident/incident reports
  • Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts
  • Perform routine charting duties
  • Prepare and administer medications ordered by the physician
  • Ensure accurate narcotic records
  • Maintain an adequate supply of floor stock medications and equipment

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN or LPN in the state of Alabama
  • Must possess the skills to perform the techniques and practices of a licensed nurse
  • Must have knowledge of and interest in the care of the geriatric resident
