About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Assembly Technician to join our team at Aleron. As an Aircraft Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing aircraft components, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test aircraft components, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
  • Follow diagrams, drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
  • Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures to assemble and test components
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing lines to ensure compliance with quality specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies
  • Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including FAA-approved internal procedures, OEMs, technical data, and work package instructions
  • Perform serviceability tests as required, using test equipment specified in technical manuals
  • Complete work package documentation as required by FAA and/or repair station manual
  • Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of aviation and/or aerospace experience in either assembly or maintenance
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • Experience with handling big mechanical components
  • Avionics background
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay range: $20-35/hour, depending on level of experience
  • Two shifts available: 1st shift (M-F, 7 AM-3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (M-F, 3:30 PM-12 AM)
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday
  • Length: Contract to Direct
