Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:- Administering physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
- Providing skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Responding to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapist.
- Implementing and modifying the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision.
- Measuring & recording patient's motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
- Monitoring patient response to treatment intervention and modifying treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
- Providing clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
- Ensuring documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
- Attending required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
- Active/Valid Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices.
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
- In-house Rehab (non-contracted).
