Job Summary

First Tek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing sales orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer accounts and relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Process sales orders for spares and provide quotations and detailed proposals to customers.
  • Support customers with Parker/Meggitt related products, including identifying and reconciling problems through interface with various departments.
  • Collaborate with contracts, trade compliance, finance, reliability, engineering, and other supporting departments to ensure complete adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interface with senior management to escalate and help resolve customer conflicts.
  • Stay up-to-date with OEM PSA/LTAs and have a good understanding of customer agreements/requirements related to LTAs and OEM PSAs.
  • Manage conflicts with upset customers in a professional and effective manner.
  • Utilize excellent planning, organizational, and motivational skills to prioritize workload and complete tasks on a timely basis.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management, peers, and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience working as a senior administrator and managing customer accounts in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Knowledge of SAP/JDE MRP system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of military and commercial standards is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAA PMA, DSA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
